Mark Zuckerberg Walks Into Classified Trump's Oval Office Meeting, Here's What Happened Next

Although Zuckerberg was eventually asked to leave, the brief interruption reportedly raised alarms among military brass

In an extraordinary episode that reportedly left top military officials startled, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg unexpectedly entered a highly classified Oval Office meeting earlier this year, raising serious concerns about national security protocols.

According to a report from NBC News, cited by The Independent, the incident occurred during a confidential presentation to President Donald Trump on the “F-47,” the US military’s next-generation stealth fighter jet, which sources say has been named in honour of Trump as the 47th president.

Just as senior Air Force officials were detailing the capabilities of the sixth-generation aircraft, Zuckerberg, who was reportedly in the White House for a different engagement, entered the room unannounced. His appearance left Pentagon officials visibly unsettled, given that he did not possess the appropriate security clearance to attend such a sensitive session, added the report.

Military Officials “Mystified And Unnerved”

Although Zuckerberg was eventually asked to leave, the brief interruption reportedly raised alarms among military brass. “They were mystified and a bit unnerved by the lack of privacy,” one official told NBC, highlighting concerns about whether classified information may have been exposed.

Insiders familiar with Trump’s White House culture say such moments are not entirely uncommon. One official described the environment as a “bizarro world,” where the formality typically associated with high-level governance has been replaced by a more chaotic, open-door atmosphere, claims the report.

“Grand Central Terminal” Approach To Governance

President Trump has apparently embraced a free-flowing approach to Oval Office access, referring to the space as “Grand Central Terminal,” a nod to the iconic New York train station. Cabinet members, aides, and even visiting business figures are said to come and go freely during meetings.

“He likes to schmooze and bounce things off whoever is around,” a White House staffer told The Independent. That dynamic reportedly led to Zuckerberg being in the room during one of the most confidential defence briefings of Trump’s term.
